The Executive Women's Golf Association, a not-for-profit organization, has nearly 20,000 members in 120 Chapters across the U.S. and Canada.
Golf & Social Events
The CNY EWGA offers a variety of activities year 'round! Golf, educational, networking, and social events give our members many opportunities to network, build friendships and develop their game.
Our Golf Events and Social Events Committees plan and organize these activities. The Committees are led by:

:: Season Kick-Off
Each spring, we get the season started with our Season Kick-Off. Our 2007 event featured a Golf Expo for Women with vendors offering items from golf apparel to Investment/Retirement Planning to massage therapy. A wonderful food-station luncheon buffet was provided, as well as fun drawings and contests!
:: League Play
Four weeknight 9-hole leagues provide scheduled play for all levels - from the beginning golfer to the more competitive. Our leagues offer the opportunity for our members to learn and develop their game.

:: Clinics & Seminars
We support our commitment to helping our members improve their game by offering a variety of clinics and seminars throughout the year. Offerings range from teaching the mechanics of the game itself, to golf etiquette and rules seminars. These also prove to be a popular opportunity for socializing and networking.

:: Chapter Championship and the Association Championship Series
For those golfers interested in a more competitive experience, we offer the Chapter and Association Championship Series -- an enjoyable, competitive series of play. These events are flighted by handicap. Compete as an individual or as member of a scramble team.

:: Charitable Events
The EWGA and the CNY Chapter are committed to creating positive change in issues important to women golfers and to promoting women's golf. In keeping with this commitment, the CNY Chapter participates in events each year to benefit its charities. Most notable of these events is the Loretto Futures Event.

:: Inter-Chapter Events
In addition to the Association Championship Series, the CNY Chapter has created events to help foster networking and friendships with other chapters in the New England Section.
In 2006 Inter-Chapter events were held with the Rochester and Albany Chapters. Photos from the Rochester outing are available in our Photo Album.
:: Year-End Banquet
In November, we close out the season with a banquet to celebrate and recognize Chapter and individual successes, as well as the hard work of our leaders and members.
