The CNY EWGA Annual Business Meeting was held on Saturday, January 5th. The purpose of the meeting was for the Board and the members to review our 2007 accomplishments and establish a new vision for the upcoming year.
Miesje Havens, Chapter President, facilitated the session. The group decided on two key initiatives for 2008:
Each committee chair is responsible for submitting action plans to support our key initiatives. In addition, budgets are to be submitted to EWGA Headquarters by the end of January 2008.
Once the plan and budget are approved in February, each member will receive a copy, mailed to their home address.
For more information on how you can participate, please contact our Leadership Chair, Mary Anne Corasaniti at leadership@cnyewga.com.

The CNY Chapter of the EWGA is committed to encouraging ladies of all ages to play the game of golf. Recently we were happy to provide three local young girls with the opportunity to attend the LSM Girls Golf Academy with Linda S. Mulherin, PGA Instructor. Attending the Golf Academy in July 2007 (pictured left to right) were Annie Basile, Margaret Mooney and Alana Jones.

Congratulations Annie, Margaret and Alana! We hope you enjoyed the school!
Thank you to Linda and everyone at the Golf Academy for your support of women's golf and the CNY EWGA!
